Top 5 iOS Virtual Pet Apps in Egypt: Q4 2024 Performance

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the virtual pet app market in Egypt demonstrated varied performance across the top five iOS applications. According to Sensor Tower data, each app exhibited unique trends in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

My Cat – Virtual Pet Games by APPSYOULOVE LTD saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting the quarter with 334 downloads and dropping to 32 by the end. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $92 in late December, while weekly active users decreased from 1K to around 394.

Pazu Games Ltd’s Baby care game & Dress up maintained stable weekly downloads, ranging between 120 to 179. Revenue reached its highest at $68 in early December, with active users showing a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, ending at 236.

Pokémon Sleep from The Pokemon Company displayed steady revenue with a significant spike to $170 in late December. However, both downloads and active users remained minimal throughout the quarter.

Pengu – Raise Virtual AI Pets by SLAY GmbH experienced a sharp decrease in downloads, from 997 at the start to 10 by the end of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $83 in late October, with active users declining steadily from 1.4K to 193.

Outfit7 Limited’s My Talking Tom Friends showed consistent download numbers, ending the quarter with 678. Revenue saw a high of $54 in early November, and active users rose significantly from 13.9K to over 18K by December's end.
